Connection

Connect Telegram using a Bot Token. To set up:

1. Open Telegram and message @BotFather 
2. Create a new bot with /newbot and follow the prompts
3. Copy the bot token provided by BotFather
4. Paste the token in QiQ Social’s Telegram connection form
5. Add the bot as an admin to your channel or group

Content Guidelines

• Markdown formatting — Telegram supports bold, italic, links, code, and other Markdown syntax
• Generous character limit — 4,096 characters allows for detailed posts
• Media optional — Images are not required for Telegram posts
• Bot must be admin — The bot needs admin permissions in channels to post

Notes

• Channels and groups are imported after providing the bot token
• The bot must be added to each channel/group before QiQ Social can post
• Telegram is the only social platform (alongside Discord) that supports Markdown formatting
